Welcome

I am an assistant professor at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Besides, I am a junior research associate at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research.

I use economic experiments to explore cooperation problems. My aim is to improve our understanding of success and failure in human cooperation and use this knowledge to make policy better. Tensions between individual and collective interests cause some of our most pressing challenges. Most of the time I am working on environmental problems. I combine behavioral, environmental, and experimental economics to investigate how to design, testbed, and implement institutions to solve the underlying incentive problems.
